FIRST IMPRESSIONS CONSULTING, LLC, founded by Mrs. Thomas J. (Carol) Holland, is pleased to present “First Impressions- Etiquette Programs for Children”.
Mrs. Holland’s interesting background as an active debutante from a socially prominent family, and her invaluable professional experience in the political realm of public administration, relations and protocol, inspired an abiding regard for the formality of polite society. Her more profound accomplishments as mother, executive spouse, premiere hostess, and avid volunteer further influenced a personal commitment to help instill respect and personal self-esteem in children and teens. We are excited to offer an affordable, convenient and comprehensive program uniquely designed to instruct children ages 6 - 14 years in traditional manners and polite conduct for everyday living. This exclusive program provides an opportunity for children of congenial age to meet for a creative learning experience which will promote courteous behavior , social skills and confidence to sustain them for a lifetime.
Enrollment is limited to facilitate small classes. This design encourages optimal interaction and personal comfort. Class will be held in two-hour sessions (including a refreshment break) once weekly for a five week period. Program participants may be enrolled by invitation or accepted through a referral application on a first come basis. Tuition is due prior to attendance and placement is only guaranteed upon completed registration. Miscellaneous fees may apply depending upon curriculum. Completion certificates will be awarded to participants at the final class.
In addition to our Comprehensive Five Week Program, we are pleased to have a Solo Seminar Series which enables
greater public outreach. This allows an incremental treatment of the popular topics included in our fine program, while
giving an inexpensive and less time-consuming alternative for social education. Individual seminars are two hours in length
including a refreshment break focused on reception skills and formal punch service. Completion certificates are also awarded.
We also provide a Exclusive Program through which we custom design instructional offerings for special individual,
commercial, recreational, educational, and community interests. Often these clients are seeking to improve the quality level
of the services they provide to better meet the particular needs, preferences, or requirements of their respective group clientele
or membership. We have the privilege of working in cooperation with many exceptional clients including the Vanderbilt Legends
Club, the Battleground Academy Lower School, and several Mid-Tennessee Girl Scout Troops.
